I’m James N. Weber, and I am a video editor based in Denver. My main focus is on documentaries. You can visit my site at www.jamesnweber.com.
Slippy, our mascot, was introduced on February 15, 2009. Slippy is based off of one of the edit tools, the slip tool. If you don’t know how to use it yet, check out these tutorials.
FCPTutorials definitely values your privacy. In the interest of openness, here are a few things you should know:
- When you rate a tutorial, your IP address is logged. If you are logged in, your username will be logged as well. This is part of the plugin, and in the case of some attack on the site, will allow me to isolate the problem IPs. Rating will not be tampered with by FCPTutorials.
- In order to make this site better, there are several web counters installed (Statcounter because I trust and understand it, Google Analytics because it’s supposed to be better, and I’m also trying out Woopra.) A big part of this is because I love stats, and like seeing that people are actually benefitting from the hard work on the site. The three biggest ways I use this are: to see the geographic distribution of visitors; find out what people are searching for to find this site; and to see what web pages are linking to me.
Please let FCPTutorials know if you have any issues with this by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
