Getting the hang of rendering is definitely a needed skill, as it’s just a much a part of the process as setting your scratch disks. This tutorial comes from Eric Meek from the Final Cut Studio School.

Andrew Balis from the Moviola Resource Center has posted some tips over at KenStone.com to help you control what you see. With dropped frames, Unlimited vs. Safe RT, and Sequence settings to worry about, Balis offers a rather comprehensive guide that will help you improve your knowledge of the program.
