I’ll admit- I was incredulous at the thought of using iTunes in an FCP workflow. But this tutorial from SuiteTake addressed all my concerns with the process, and actually seems to be a rather helpful tip. This will work best on edit-only computers, as you’ll have to change some settings in iTunes to make this FCP friendly.

All the tutorials on this site wil do you no good unless you know the order to do them in. That’s why workflow is a huge buzzword now (and should stay one, in my opinion). CJ Bruce from The Final Cut Pro breaks down the bare bones workflow in the manual, and adds his own two cents. This is a must read if you’re just starting out, or have run into problems with workflow in the past.

There are tons of codecs out there, and it can be really confusing to know how to use each. Some are stronger for editing, some are stronger for shooting, some are stronger for delivery.
